So if you didn't know my nan just finished treating her 2nd cancer about a month ago. She wasn't feeling well so she got some scans and tests done on Friday. Her doctor called her with the results yesterday saying that she might have a completely unrelated 3rd cancer and it's like in her stomach acid or smth so it's rlly bad. she is in the hospital and staying for the next few days while she has tests done. everyone's really scared, my aunt is even thinking of flying back into the country (she lives in Chicago) to help her through it (if she does end up getting through it). She's staying in the hospital this week and having an operation tmrw to see how bad the cancer is and (bc she also found out there is an infection or smth that's aggravating the cancer today) what the next move is. Thx to everyone who has been supportive, I really appreciate it. After loosing my poppy (her husband and another father-figure to me after an 'incident') in 2020 my whole family have been sort of broken. I'm not sure if she will get past this without him by her side which is really scary bc she has been my mother-figure since the same 'incident' and I cant really imagine not having her by my side. Sorry for ranting to you guys about such a sad topic, I think i just needed to get it out and I trust you guys as amazing friends, even if I dont know you irl :)
