So, by tea, you could mean one of two things. You could be meaning afternoon tea, or tea could also be used as another word for dinner. So for afternoon tea, no we don't have it every day, that is just a stereotype to be honest - I don't really like tea myself, loads of people do though. But if you mean tea as in dinner then it's really up to your preference, not all Brits eat at 5pm but some do - so in short it's not true for everyone :)
Well to put it that way, me family drinks tea at 4 PM every day and my parents drink it in the morning too, but we're not British
